Member terms · version 2026-08-28-r8

Private network.
Clear boundaries.

These terms govern the FirstFill member network and the separate organization-and-opportunity workspace. They explain who may participate, what the service does, and the boundaries every account must follow.

Important: FirstFill is not a clinical system, an emergency service, or a place for patient-identifying information.
Member setup: eligible dental-school email identities may activate automatically after submitting a member profile; other accounts receive a manual eligibility review. Membership is active only when the signed-in session says it is. See the Privacy notice.
Career tools: organizations cannot enter member Boards or social messages. A CV is shared only after a member explicitly confirms a versioned grant for an application or approved organization.
Member network map: an optional self-reported school may be matched to the CODA-accredited U.S. dental-program catalog. Only active members who accepted the current terms contribute. Exact school counts are never published; bands begin at five, and zero through four have the same no-band result. Organization contacts cannot access this map or its school bands.
Events and show: event RSVPs and podcast listening progress are account activity. Pressing play may contact the publisher’s external HTTPS media host; merely opening an episode does not preload its audio.
No calls: FirstFill does not provide audio or video calling, never requests microphone or camera access, and sends no member media to any call provider. Members who want to talk arrange it on a channel of their own choosing.

1. Who may use FirstFill

FirstFill membership is for dental students, early-career dentists, mentors, and other eligible dental professionals who are at least 18 years old. Use your own authenticated account and provide truthful profile information. Eligible dental-school email identities may start immediately; other identities may require manual review. A direct invitation is personal and must not be forwarded. Approved organization contacts use an isolated organization workspace; they do not become members or gain member-network access.

2. What FirstFill is—and is not

FirstFill provides persistent discussion Boards, consent-based connections, private direct messages, a privacy-safe member network map, a structured career CV, reviewed organization workspaces, transparent opportunity listings, permissioned job applications, member events, and The First Fill Show. A school-email check verifies control of that address; it is not independent proof of enrollment, graduation, licensure, or another professional credential. FirstFill does not provide clinical advice, deliver patient care, store clinical records, act as an employment agency, or guarantee that member, organization, event, or episode content is accurate.

3. No patient or sensitive clinical information

Do not post names, photographs, radiographs, dates of birth, record numbers, treatment details that could identify a person, or any other patient information. Use fictional or fully de-identified learning scenarios only. If sensitive information is posted accidentally, report it immediately through FirstFill support.

4. Respect and safety

No harassment, threats, impersonation, discrimination, spam, unlawful material, or attempts to access another person’s account or content. Authorized FirstFill staff may restrict access or close a discussion to protect members or the service.

5. Your account and invitations

Keep access to your authenticated account secure. Tell FirstFill support promptly if you think it has been compromised. A connection or direct invitation can be declined or revoked; private access is not transferable.

6. Messages and privacy

Social direct messages and application-only hiring conversations are restricted to their eligible participants, but they are stored by the service and are not end-to-end encrypted. Hiring conversations do not grant organization contacts access to member Boards, People, or social messages. Hosting administrators may have technical access when needed to operate or secure FirstFill. See the Privacy notice for the current data boundaries.

7. Member network map

A member may optionally enter a school in their profile. FirstFill may normalize that self-reported value to the CODA-accredited U.S. dental-program catalog and include it in member-only aggregate school bands while the member is active and has accepted the current terms. Exact counts are never returned or displayed. Published bands begin at five; a school with zero through four qualifying members receives the same no-band result. Organization contacts cannot access the member map or its bands. Clearing the school field removes that value from future calculations. A marker or band is not proof of any person’s enrollment, graduation, credential, or current affiliation.

8. No audio or video calls

FirstFill does not provide audio or video calling. The product never requests microphone or camera access, and no call provider processes member media on FirstFill’s behalf. If members choose to speak by phone or video, they arrange it themselves on a service of their own choosing, under that service’s terms, and remain responsible for keeping patient information out of any conversation about cases.

9. Organizations, opportunities, and CV sharing

Organization verification is an access decision, not an endorsement or guarantee. Organization contacts must be authorized, provide truthful evidence, disclose material role terms, and avoid unsolicited member contact. A member shares no career information merely by browsing or saving. Applying creates a versioned CV snapshot and purpose-limited organization grant; future in-product access may expire or be revoked. Members and organizations must independently verify employment claims and preserve any records required outside FirstFill.

Hiring-scam boundary: Never send or request money, gift cards, bank details, SSN/SIN, passwords, login codes, or identity/licence documents through FirstFill. Verify unusual requests independently and use Report. Lawful post-offer checks belong in the organization’s approved secure HR process.

10. Events and The First Fill Show

Joining or cancelling an event stores your RSVP state, waitlist order, timestamps, and related in-app notifications. Confirmed attendees may receive an external HTTPS access resource while the event is open; waitlisted members do not. Saving an episode or listening stores saved state and listening position in your account. Pressing play contacts the publisher’s external media host, which may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and browser request under that host’s own terms. FirstFill does not preload external audio merely because you open the episode. Published audio requires a transcript; owners must have the necessary rights and approvals and must use a versioned media URL whose audio is not silently replaced.

11. Your contributions

You keep ownership of what you write. You give FirstFill the limited permission needed to store, display, back up, and transmit it within FirstFill. Only share material you have the right to use.

12. Service availability

Features may change, pause for maintenance, or be removed, and continuous availability is not promised. Keep a separate copy of important professional or personal information.

13. Leaving, export, and deletion

A member may download a structured copy of their FirstFill data or submit a correction or deletion request from the Profile controls (member sign-in). Deletion is not instant: an authorized reviewer verifies the request, the service anonymizes or removes the member’s in-product identity and records per-system completion, and unfinished provider work remains visible and retryable rather than being reported as complete.

14. Changes and contact

Material changes will be shown to affected members before continued use. Access, privacy, safety, and deletion questions should go through the monitored contact published on FirstFill support.

CURRENT BOUNDARY

FirstFill membership and verification badges communicate the checks actually completed. They are not a substitute for licensing-board, school, employer, or other independent professional verification when a decision requires it.
